Most people today live in a constant state of stress. Overactivated, overstimulated & unable to switch off

Over time, this chronic stress erodes sleep and mood, keeping the nervous system stuck in high alert. We become wired but exhausted, anxious yet drained.

SONA works by retraining your nervous system, helping you shift out of a chronic state of stress.

A protocol tuned to your vagus nerve

1. Generate Your Protocol

Choose your goals and SONA will create a personalised stimulation protocol

2. Sync and Optimise

Select your preferred intensity and SONA syncs stimulation with your breathing and heartbeat

3. Track

Track your biometrics and stay motivated as you see your progress build over time

What you can expect in Month 1

HRV up to 2× baseline

Deep sleep +30–40 min per night

Sharper focus & faster reaction times

Why Personalisation Matters

How much stimulation you need is determined by:

Your state of arousal. SONA reads your breathing rate and heart rate and identifies whether you are overactivated or underactivated. The more overactivated you are, the higher the dose.

The sensitivity of your vagus nerve. Different people need different doses. Over time the feedback loops within SONA enable it to learn what dose your specific VNS needs to see a response in key metrics like HRV.

And the effectiveness of that stimulation is determined by timing. Timing is Everything.

The vagus nerve is in constant flux, cycling between states of high and low excitability. SONA delivers pulses of stimulation exactly when your vagus nerve is most excitable. It’s like pushing a swing at the right time. The same effort carries it higher and smoother with every motion. Push at the wrong time, and the energy is lost or throws the rhythm off. By catching your body’s natural rhythm, SONA amplifies your relaxation response instead of fighting against it.

The result is a stimulation protocol tuned to your vagus nerve. And that means reaching a deeper state of calm for longer.

"I'm a psychotherapist – and this new mood-boosting, stress-busting vagus nerve device left me changed"

I've been testing health and fitness tech for nearly two decades, but my recent experience with the vagus nerve stimulating Sona was one of the most memorable and stand-out jumps forward.

You may already have some of the best fitness apps and have benefited from measuring your health metrics. But, once you get into kit that actively affects your body, known as biohacking, the whole wearable game changes.
